Leslie has her undergraduate degree in Biology from UNC- Chapel Hill and her Medical Doctorate from Wake Forest University. She did her residency and cardiology fellowship at the University of Virginia and went onto William Beaumont hospital in Michigan to complete a fellowship in interventional cardiology. She is married and has two nearly adult children and two adult stepchildren and two energetic dogs. She works locally in Williamsport as an interventional cardiologist with a special interest in coronary artery disease, valvular heart disease and sports cardiology.
Leslie has run many races from 5K up to a marathon as well as completing multiple triathlons, completing distances from sprint to a full ironman in 2021. She is currently coming back from shoulder surgery but plans to compete again in both road races and triathlon. Leslie has always been interested in cardiac physiology which pairs well with her love of the sport of triathlon. She is excited to share her knowledge of both in her coaching.
