Cindy Reck: Catawissa, PA
Hi, I’m Cindy! I’m a retired chemistry professor at Bloomsburg University, now coaching swimming for the Bloomsburg YMCA. I am a 22-time DII All-American swimmer, doing sports psychology presentations for local sports teams. I enjoy doing hands-on food chemistry presentations for local community groups. I live with my husband, Fred, and my three children in Catawissa where we run a small hobby farm producing all of our own meat and many other consumables.
I’ve been doing sprint triathlons here and there since I was a teenager. Since joining Rise up Racing in January 2023, Coach Robin and the team have supported me through one Olympic distance tri and one 70.3. I’m excited to see what I can do in triathlon!
