This one is special.
Roy has officially set the record for the most Athlete of the Month awards in Rise Up Racing history. And after his performance at Galveston, it was clear there was no question.
Take a look at what he just put together:
– 70.3 PR
– Massive swim PR
– Fastest transitions EVER
– Bike & run course PRs
This is what it looks like to commit to the process, stay consistent, and show up with grit over time. Roy continues to raise the standard of what’s possible not just in performance, but in how he shows up as a teammate.
Proud is an understatement.
“Ironman Galveston is a special race in that my wife, Lorrie, grew up in Galveston and we have family in the area. I did this race three years ago and my goal going into this year’s race was to better my time. With my best race preparation to date, I had faster times in the swim, bike and run. Faster transitions too. All in all a great day. A huge thank you to Rise Up Racing and the amazing coaching and feedback. I am not only becoming a better athlete but a better person as well. I am so proud to be a member of this group. This is truly an honor to be selected again for RUR athlete of the month!”
